September 2012
Organised the inaugural National River Forum, which brought together river experts and thought leaders to discuss about national river management issues.
July 2012
Organised River Carnival at Zoo Negara, aiming to educate and raise awareness among the general public about water conservation issues.
March 2012
Released three species of fishes into Sungei Way to further increase fish stock in the river.


July 2011
Training of the officials at the Department of Drainage and Irrigation.
April 2011
Launched the River Management Handbook, which documents some of the key lessons and learning experiences from the Sungei Way rehabilitation project.
March 2011
Launched the Mobile River Care Unit to spread greater awareness to the communities.


August 2009
Created habitats along the river to re-introduce native flora and fauna into Sungei Way.
May 2009
Survey of Sungei Way showed improvement in water quality and biodiversity.


March 2008
Obtained community support to help put up rubbish traps along Sungei Way to prevent garbage from making their way back into the river.


December 2007
Launched the W.A.T.E.R. project, which proposes to rehabilitate a stretch Sungei Way. Started out by engaging the community.
